Chaf Pozi is perfectly situated close to both the FNB and Orlando Stadiums in Soweto, and is always the best place in town for pre and post concert and game entertainment. Chaf Pozi is all about meat, and Shisa Nyama style. The menu covers delicious cuts of mutton, beef, chicken, pork and traditional wors as well as a variety of tasty side dishes. The music of the townships served as an important platform and vehicle for developing singers and instrumentalists. The 1950′s was the era of Jazz development in South Africa. This 60 seat Jazz Maniacs Restaurant takes its name after the famous Jazz Maniacs group that was well-known in the 50′s. Today local jazz artists convene at this elegantly decorated venue on the last Sunday of every month (and on some selcted dates during the month), and entertain diners with jazz of yesteryear as well contemporary musical sounds. The Chef’s versatility meets everybody’s tastes by offering: A La Carte menus, set menus, cocktail menus, light lunches, and our ever popular Traditional Township Fare. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served to in-house guests as well as non-resident guests.

Sakhumzi Restaurant commenced operation in (November) 2001 by founder & owner Mr Sakhumzi Maqubela who is Soweto-born himself. He left a lucrative career after 13 years with a major bank, then used his savings to capitalise the business. The Restaurant has grown from humble beginnings of 5 staff to 42 full-time staff working on two(2) shifts. The brewery itself will be opened for production sometime in July 2014 when you will be able to tour the facility and taste the brew straight from the tap! Until then the beer is already being produced by Nottingham Brewery in KZN and once it’s home is found in Soweto will follow the same secret delicious recipe which is already taking Guateng by storm.
