The reserve is located in the Kromdraai area near Randburg / Johannesburg
The Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a privately-owned game reserve covering some 1600 hectares. Visitors can expect to see in excess of 650 head of game including some very rare and endangered species. The Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is now under the dynamic and innovative ownership of the Bothongo Group. Situated in the world-renowned Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.

Organised Activities

• Wondercave-R120 per adult, R90 per child- tours time slots every hour on the hour from 09:00 -16:00 PLEASE ENQUIRE IF FACILITY OPENED ON YOUR DATES (CURRENTLY IT IS UNDERGOING MAINTENANCE BUT SHOULD BE OPENED SHORTLY)
• Guided game drive min. total cost of R 1200 for between 1-4 people, bookings of 5 ppl or more – R270 per adult, R190 kids 3-12 years
• Game drive time slots 09:00, 12:00, 15:00 (predator feeding at 13h00 on Wed. and Weekends, so to catch this on an organised drive 12h00 slot on Wed. Sat. Sun would work)
