Apologies for taking so long to thank you for a wonderful day. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and please thank Bongani and the others from all our us. I was particularly impressed with Kliptown. I have been involved with Missionvale Informal Settlement in PE for many many years and actually run Missionvale Australia where we sent regular donations for help educate, feed and medicate nearly 300 Missionvale Children. I have put the 2 organisations in touch with each other, hopefully they can swop ideas

Having now returned home following the student South Africa study-tour, I am finally able to catch up on my official ‘thank you’ to you for making our 2016 course on ‘Narratives of Peace & Conflict’ a wonderful success. South Africa was an amazing experience for our students. We had 24 students from three countries and the intercultural learning and interactions and friendships among the three groups of students exceeded my highest expectations. The students were so completely engaged in the course content on peace, conflict and reconciliation that they would be engaged in debates and dialogues with each other (on buses, in restaurants, in their free time) on issues of identity, poverty, urban development, forgiveness, etc. — it was a professor’s dream! I just wanted to say a big thank you for an amazing experience. I was very impressed with Ngugi and the tour as a whole. I’ve had positive feedback from all who went and each was simulated at their individual levels. Thank you for a most enjoyable and informative Mandela Heritage tour. Our Ghanaian visitors were absolutely enthralled at seeing all the sites and museums which tell the story about Nelson Mandela. Your tour guide Ngugi is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Johannesburg and of course Nelson Mandela’s life. He tells a good story with a great sense of humour. Your vehicle was comfortable and your driver got us around safely. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day.
